The Country Fire Service is responding to a grass fire located on Hutchinson Drive, Mobilong, just north east of Murray Bridge.
About 20 CFS resources, along with eight aircraft are working to contain the blaze, which is burning in vegetation along the river.
Firefighters are also being supported by SA Police, SA State Emergency Service and aircraft, including firebombers and observational aircraft.
Smoke is impacting roads in the area, and visibility may be reduced.
To ensure your safety and that of firefighters and other emergency personnel who are working in the area, please do not enter the area unless necessary.
Roads are currently open around this incident but this may change at short notice.
